You can not buy a newspaper in the Twin Cities. Every box and rack I’ve seen has been empty. First time I’ve actually wanted to buy a paper since I discovered that I could read Get Fuzzy online. First economic effect of the Obama presidency: this volume of sales should stave off the colapse of the traditional print media by a few months.

After 2 years of campaigning the first polls close in 3 minutes. I’ll be up watching the results until a winner is called. Hopefully it will be an early night.
